In order to get a mfg license, I’m assuming I’ll need the hours/shows working under an operator? My end goal is to be able to make stuff for small(ish) shows for friends and family shot on our property. In everyone’s experience, is it difficult to get permits for this type of show? I assume I’d need to talk the the Rockingham County Fire Marshall. Or town of Bethany. I know it’s a volunteer FD there. Does the mfg license cover operators abilities too? I’m down for gaining experience to accomplish this. If this seems like a reach, I want everyone to understand that I am a builder/maker. I love making things. Anything. Have been since I was little. And as soon as I figured out that fireworks were “make-able” I was/am hooked. I love it. I love the chemistry of it. I love the fact that most of the materials are readily available. I love the experiments behind it. I’m here for any advise and guidance.
