Hello, my name is Josh Schutt. I just found this group. I am looking fwd to learning alot. I have been hand shooting for about 5 years now. and thinking about buying a Cobra or Ignite firing system. Any input would be great. Oh I am located in Mocksville, NC is this group still active? Don’t see many recent posts.

In my opinion, Cobra would be your best bet with a firing system.
Why? Their customer service is second to none.
Most members own Cobra so this allows you to ask us questions about the system, borrow mods if needed and it’s easy to expand on.
For me, I was I between a Cobra and a Dewey system (for the old timers in here lol).
My wife bought me my first 18R2 and 18m.
Scott Smith talked her into not buying the 18R because he knew I’d expand and possibly her into pyromusicals.
The rest is history.
I own 34 18m’s, 3-36m’s, 2 18R2’s and a whole lot of slats and cables.
Plus, if you want to ever sell your equipment, Conra holds its resale value very well.
