PGI 2021
Seminar & Workshop Applications for the 2021 PGI Convention are now open!
The PGI Convention is a GO for August 7-13 in Fargo, ND. If you’d like to present at the convention, please go to pgi.org/seminars to submit a Seminar Application form by June 30th, 2021.
Seminars and Workshops are some of the best ways to learn about fireworks from the people who know them best. At PGI we offer hands-on detailed presentations that simply can’t be found anywhere else. Sharing of your knowledge, skills and experience is the foundation of the PGI mission. Please consider giving a seminar or workshop to pass along this coveted knowledge to others to not only keep the art alive but place your knowledge in the hands of others who will add their own ideas and open the door to new techniques and effects.
WHAT IS A SEMINAR? Seminars are given in a lecture type environment with chairs for the audience and a table and chairs for the lecturer, typically with a projector (bring your own computer) and screen, microphone, and speakers. Upon request, a whiteboard or easel can be provided.
WHAT IS A WORKSHOP? Workshops place the audience at tables with chairs participating in making something, usually involving live material. Again, a projector and screen, microphone and speakers, etc. can be provided.
IMPORTANT: Anyone presenting at the convention must be a current PGI member and register to attend. To renew your membership, please visit pgi.org/membership.
