Elections for 2020
As we move into the Fall, and prepare for our event in October, it is time to start considering elections of officers for the Carolina Pyros.
I would like to let you all know that I will NOT be seeking reelection as Vice President, so to all of the members, please consider a nominee to run for this office, and post it!
This has been the most unusual year that most of you have ever seen, and the fireworks industry as a whole has taken a bit hit with the Covid-19 situation. There are many challenges yet to come, especially in the 1.4G markets, with the proposed changes coming in from China that I am sure many of you are aware of.
It has been an honor to serve the Carolina Pyros, and I will continue to support the Club.

It's getting close to that time of the year. Elections for the new CP board members that will continue to grow the club and move it into the future. It's been a great run for me but now it's time for someone else to continue in the secretary role. I will not be seeking reelection for 2021. But, will not close the door for another run in the future. I have been on the board since the inception and have truly enjoyed serving plus getting to meet great people. We have had our ups and downs, learned from them and made a better experience for all our members. The club is in a excellent place and has grown every year. Mike Russell CP President has been instrumental in establishing club buys with our sponsors. I'm sure it will continue in 2021 with great success. 2020 was going to be an epic year for the club. In addition to the Spring / Fall events there were several workshops planned. We were going to increase the shell building class to 2 or 3 in the year plus several more open shoots. Hopefully, 2021 will allow these things to happen. After the Fall event sometime in the first week of November elections information will go out to members. See you guys at the 2020 Fall event.
