The President position
Most of you know me, but for our newest members, my name is Mike Russell and I am the president of the Carolina Pyros!
The past couple of years have been the most difficult for our fledgling club. Getting things organized, legalized and finalized are the hardest to accomplish for a new club. I am extremely pleased with what we have accomplished, where we are today as a club and where we are headed!
We have secured our very own insurance policy with the financial commitments made by members including myself.
We have our very own ATF type 20 license for the manufacturing of explosives.
I was pleased to get us a very nice write up in a recent issue of the PGI bulletin.
It also was my pleasure to secure Raccoon Fireworks and Super Fireworks as friends and sponsors of our club!
I was proud to announce that our club membership had doubled this year! That accomplishment put us solidly on our feet and we are now financially viable!
We have had our share of start up and growing pains but we have persevered and are now on our way to sheer greatness!
It has been my pleasure and honor to serve as your president and I'm happy to continue to serve the club as president!
